The types of legitimate migration in Islam
There are many genres of migration including,
- Migration to seek knowledge
- Migration to seek livelihood
- Migrate as tourism in the land for fun and entertainment
- To visit sacred and historical places. Migration is for Hajj for the sake of God
- Migration for jihad for the sake of God, which is the highest level of migration and the most honorable in God Almighty.
Definition of immigration in Islam
Migration of a place is the movement of a Muslim from one place to another, so he moves from the countries of the infidels in which he cannot establish the religion and its rulings there, and he fears for his honor and his family, and the application of the rituals of his religion, to another country in which he is safe from his family and money and is able to establish the rituals of his religion without diminishing, or An objection, or otherwise, and this type is what the Prophet - peace be upon him - and his companions applied when they migrated from Mecca to Medina.
